The holidays are over, 2019 already started and I am SO ready to kick-start this year.
2018 was amazing. I did everything I have planned to achieve. These were my highlights:
- I graduated from school with merit.
- Started working for a brand I love.
- Went to Greece.
- Moved to another city.
- Worked hard for my personal development and became so much happier.
- And I did my Personal Fitness Coach certificate.
- Oh, and I worked out pretty much every day.
2018 was the best year of my life. And you know what? Next year is going to be even better. Because I will make it a better year.
I have so many plans and I feel fkn motivated to achieve my new year’s resolutions for 2019. I absolutely love to set positive intentions, plan my actions for the upcoming year and work my way towards my goals.
Is this something you love, too? If so, this blog post is perfect for you!

1. Find your why
First of all, you need to set your new year’s resolutions. I already talked about setting goals and achieving them in two of my previous blog posts.
The most important thing when it comes to goal setting is to be very precise about it and to know why you want this goal. Write everything down.
What is your why?
If your goal is to start your fitness journey and lose weight this year, your reason might be that you want to feel confident in your body. Or because you want to feel healthy again.
Whatever it is that you want, think deeper and try to find a very meaningful reason for your goals. Ask yourself why over and over again and you will find the right answer.
2. Change your mindset and commit to your goal
Girl, if you want to succeed at something you gotta go all in.
Making a move towards your goal 3 times a week and having it at the end of your to-do list is getting you nowhere.
Moreover, only focus on one goal at a time. It will be such a huge priority of yours that the results will come much easier and faster.
Commit to taking massive action until you have got the result.
This is where I struggle. I always concentrate on more than one goal at a time and want to keep it very balanced. But this year I am going all in on my blog and personal coaching business.
3. Make it a routine
So, let’s take the example above.
The best way to achieve your fitness goals is to make working out a routine.
Like brushing your tooth. It is something you do every day without even thinking about it. And without much effort. At least I hope so, haha.
When I first started working out, I used to go to the gym every day at exactly 7 pm. It became my routine so quickly that I felt really strange if I somehow didn’t make it to the gym.
Here are a few tips on how you can make working out your routine:
- Workout consistently at the same time every day or every few days a week
- It takes about 2 months to form a habit, which then ultimately becomes your routine so keep going
- Think about your workout a few times a day
- Prep your workout clothes the night before
- Schedule your workouts and create a trainings-plan
4. Keep going
You know what won’t make you succeed faster? Quitting.
So, don’t give up! You can do it! I believe in you and you should too.
As I said, habits are formed within 2 months. Keep going for the first 2 months and you will get there, I promise. Push through!
Make 2019 your best year ever. Go after your goals and dreams!
A lot of people don’t set goals, because they are afraid of disappointment. But, the truth is: By not setting goals you are already disappointing yourself ahead of time. You are not even allowing yourself to try.
Your only limit is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself, why you can’t achieve your dream.
Have a productive and determined week,
